- Stop retinol and exfoliating acids a few days before.
- No waxing or sunburn on your face for a week before.
- Tell us about any medications or skin conditions at check-in.
After your facial
- Skin feels smoother right away, and makeup goes on more evenly.
- Your skin might purge: a few breakouts as clogs already under your skin come to the surface. It's temporary and a sign your skin is clearing out, so don't freak out.
- With a peel, you may see light flaking for a few days.
- Stick with the home routine we go over. It's just as important as your facial.
- Wear SPF every day to protect your results.

Does dermaplaning make hair grow back thicker?
No. Fine facial hair grows back the same soft texture.
Is there downtime?
Usually none. Peels can cause a few days of light flaking.
What is purging, and why is it a good thing?
Purging is when clogs that were already sitting under your skin come to the surface faster after a facial, so you may see a few breakouts. It's a good sign: your facial loosened that congestion and sped up your skin's renewal, so it comes out now instead of breaking out later. It's temporary and usually settles within a week or two, leaving clearer skin behind. If you see breakouts in new spots or redness that won't calm down, text us.

Yes. Home care is just as important as your facial. We'll go over what you use now and what you might need to change to get your results.
How often should I come back?
Every 4 to 6 weeks keeps texture smooth and results building.
Signature or Anti-Aging?
Choose Signature for congestion and breakouts. Choose Anti-Aging if texture, fine lines or uneven tone bother you most. See the Signature Facial.
Can I get a facial and laser on the same day?
Yes, as long as your laser area isn't on your face or neck. For face or neck laser (like lip, chin, neck or half face), schedule your facial and laser at least 1 week apart so your skin can recover.
Do I need a deposit?
Yes. A $25 non-refundable deposit holds your spot. Cancel at least 24 hours ahead and it stays on your account as a gift card, valid for 1 year, to use when you reschedule or toward products. No-shows and late cancellations forfeit the deposit.
