Booking & Policies
Who qualifies for the new client specials?
Anyone visiting Ambiance for the first time. Specials can't be combined with other offers.
Can I book more than one special?
Yes. New clients can book one facial special and one laser special.
Can I get a facial and laser on the same day?
Yes, as long as your laser area isn't on your face or neck. If you're getting laser on your face or neck (like lip, chin, neck or half face), schedule your facial and laser at least 1 week apart so your skin has time to recover.
Is the consultation really free?
Yes. Your consultation is complimentary, and there's no pressure to book a treatment on the spot.
Do I need a deposit to book?
Every treatment requires a $25 non-refundable deposit to hold your spot. Free consultations don't need a deposit.
What is your cancellation policy?
Please cancel at least 24 hours ahead. When you do, your $25 deposit stays on your account as a gift card, valid for 1 year. Use it when you reschedule or toward products or any service. No-shows and cancellations within 24 hours forfeit the deposit.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. For laser, choose pay-as-you-go or one of our in-house payment plans. Ask us for details.

Facials
Which facial should I choose?
Choose the Signature Facial for clogged pores, breakouts or a skin reset. Choose the Anti-Aging Facial if rough texture, fine lines or uneven tone bother you most. Not sure? Book a free consultation.
How long is a facial?
Both the Signature and Anti-Aging Facials are 60 minutes.
Is there any downtime?
Usually none. Skin can look a little pink for about an hour after extractions. If your Anti-Aging Facial includes a peel, you may see light flaking for a few days.
What is purging, and why is it a good thing?
Purging is when clogs that were already sitting under your skin come to the surface faster after a facial, so you may see a few breakouts. It's a good sign: your facial loosened that congestion and sped up your skin's renewal, so it comes out now instead of breaking out later. It's temporary and usually settles within a week or two, leaving clearer skin behind. If you see breakouts in new spots or redness that won't calm down, text us.
Will you help with my home routine?
Yes. Home care is just as important as your facial. Before you leave, we'll go over what you use now and what you might need to change to get the results you want.
How should I prepare for my facial?
Stop retinol and exfoliating acids a few days before, and avoid a sunburn on your face. Tell us about any medications or skin conditions at check-in.
How often should I get a facial?
Every 4 to 6 weeks keeps your skin clear and lets us build on your results.
What products do you use?
Our Signature Facial uses Dermalogica and Image Skincare. Our Anti-Aging Facial uses Dermalogica, HydroPeptide and Image Skincare. Your esthetician chooses what fits your skin.
Does dermaplaning make hair grow back thicker?
No. Fine facial hair grows back the same soft texture.
Laser Hair Removal
Does laser hair removal hurt?
Most clients feel a quick snap, like a rubber band. Built-in cooling keeps each session comfortable.
How long is a session?
Your $100 first session on 2 small or medium areas takes about 45 minutes.
How many sessions will I need?
Most areas take 6 sessions, spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart. With the $100 special, your first session counts, so 5 remain in your package.
Is it permanent?
It's permanent hair reduction. Most clients stay smooth with an occasional maintenance session. Results vary.
Is it safe for my skin tone?
Yes. Our GentleMax Pro has two wavelengths, so we can safely treat almost every skin tone.
Can you treat blonde, gray or red hair?
Those hair colors usually don't respond to laser. Electrolysis works on any hair color, and we offer it here.
How should I prepare?
Shave the area 24 hours before. Don't wax, pluck or thread for 4 weeks before, since the laser needs the root in place. Avoid tanning and self-tanner on the area for 2 weeks.
What should I do after my session?
Redness or small bumps can last a few hours. Skip hot workouts, hot tubs and sun on the area for 24 to 48 hours, and wear SPF on treated areas.

Our trained laser technicians, all trained by owner Kari and overseen by our medical director.
Visiting Us
Where are you located?
We're inside Trademark Salon at 10300 Louetta Rd #106, Houston, TX 77070. Our name isn't on the building, so look for the Trademark Salon sign and check in at the front desk.
What should I bring to my consultation?
A list or photos of the products you use now (no need to bring the products), a list of any medications or skin conditions we should know about, and your questions.
